When I lived in India, I was called “the lady with the white magic” because my prayers were often answered in the most miraculous of ways. After sharing my experiences, people from other countries started to messages me, asking for me to pray for them too (which I was more than happy to do).
Often times, when people talk about manifesting, it’s easy to get the idea that it only comes in those perfect, magical moments to ‘special people’. That’s just not true. The fact is, life is messy.. and manifestation can occur, even amongst the mess. We all have ups and downs. The challenge is, when life hits you hard, can you pull yourself up by the boot straps (improve your situation by your own efforts) and keep moving forward?
Some days, we show up to work with no make-up. Some days, we cry. Some days we want to stay in bed and pull the cover over our heads. The question is, can you love yourself enough to press on toward the life you deserve? And can you remember, in those moments, that you are a co-creator of your life?
Here I share some vulnerable moments from my own life, as I continue to manifest my dreams in the face of adversity:
Truth is, I’m struggling. I’m struggling with the loss of one of the most important relationships of my life. I’m struggling with finances. I’m struggling with the idea of leaving my family again. I’m struggling with the fact that I’ve gained 50+ pounds since I returned to the United States. I’m struggling with my health after long-term mold exposure and stress. Yet I made a promise to myself to make a blog post every Tuesday and so here I am, showing up.
I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it to keep it real. On the flip side of my struggles, I also am tremendously BLESSED! There is a Force working behind the scenes to support me every step of the way. I have been provided for, awarded scholarships, given free coaching and free readings (people reaching out to me – out of the no were – and offering their services).
This past week, I cancelled a lot of the back-end systems that are running my business and when I called to cancel the most important one, the company told me they would foot my bill for two months – no payment required from me!!!
And in the moments that I have wanted to throw in the towel on being an entrepreneur? Divine delivered someone on my path that sent a note like this:
Or this:
I am not a victim. I am a victor; rolling with the punches and taking action to fulfill my purpose here.
Do you have an experience from your life where you were down and out and able to overcome it? Share in the comments – you never know who it could help empower in the future when someone is down and out and browsing <3
Catch you next week!
Until then, keep shining your Light, the world needs the awesomeness you’re serving up!

Thanks so much for commenting, Laura! Blessings and Love to you!
Just putting it out there in case it’s helpful – do you know of The Light Center in Baldwin City KS with Robin Goff? Also, there’s the Lavender House in Lawrence owned by Joni Fornelli. Joni was looking for someone to live at the Lavender house. I don’t know if she successfully found someone yet. Both are great places! You can find them on Facebook and a google search.
