You can not actualize your spiritual self without accepting, loving, acknowledging, and fully experiencing your human self.
If you are buying into the belief that you just need to ‘think better’, ‘be better’, ‘do better’, ‘practice better’, ‘practice more gratitude’, ‘do more shielding’, etc; in order to have the best spiritual experience, you are being duped into a way of life that detracts from the very thing you want.
Your human experience is a part of your spiritual experience. You can not express into this world fully unless you embrace your human-ness and allow yourself to fully experience all capacity of emotions/sensations/experiences that come to you.
The trick is not to spiritually bypass or try to ‘hijack’ out of your current experience. The trick… is to be in your experience with full acceptance of it. Maybe you can’t come to acceptance in the first hour, or day, or month or even year… but with time, Presence, Discernment, Balance, and Divine Grace… a day will come when you transcend the suffering of the mind.
In the meantime, just be.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t be in a place of suffering because you’re supposed to be in a ‘metaphysical mindset’. Don’t let anyone tell you that you maybe need to change course of your life just because you’re having some challenges in that moment. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not ‘spiritual enough’ if you are embracing your current human experience. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not the Spiritual Master that you are, just because you’re transparent with your experiences.
Spiritual Mastery has nothing to do with living on high 100% of the time. Spiritual Mastery has to do with the ability to be Present and abiding; to acknowledge and accept; to believe and surrender; to find the balance and, if you can’t, then to never stop trying; to be yourself, with unapologetic authenticity. To be with what is, in the moment, without moving to hide it, fade it, or fix it. And then to find the jewels from these experiences to give back to the world and even potentially leave as your legacy.
So if you’re going through some challenge, and other Lightworker’s are trying to discredit or belittle you because you’re in a challenge, understand this has nothing to do with you and everything to do with their perception of the world and their acceptance of their own internal challenges.
Caveat: If it provokes anything other than compassion, then it is also a gift for you to get real with yourself.
But don’t deny your experience for fear of judgment of not being the Spiritual Master that you are. For it is in the experience itself that your Mastery heightens. It is in the experience itself that you are given the opportunity to transcend your suffering. In fact, it may be that very challenge that sets you free.
And, make no mistake, even the ‘highest’ of masters still endure suffering.
Jesus still suffered when he was on the cross. He only faced the situation with Grace.
Mother Theresa still had internal struggles, which she wrote about, despite her Spiritual Mastery and immense wisdom.
A very well respected Spiritual Master in India speaks of a time when he was in immense and deep physical suffering, while his human mind was chattering all about it.
His doctor asked him, “Do you not feel any pain”
To which he replied something to the effect of, “Of course I do! I just don’t let it take over me”
Now, this man is looked upon by thousands and thousands (possibly millions) to be kind of like Jesus in the sense that he has metaphysical powers so strongly that he has managed to cause immense miracles in this world. Yet he still acknowledges his physical suffering and the mental chatter that accompanies it. This. Is Spiritual Mastery.
Spiritual Mastery is not bypassing the acknowledgement of your current experience. It is experiencing it fully with Grace and Presence; with balance; and taking the jewels from it to fuel your purpose.
The key to all things is balance. Be very discerning of anyone that preaches to bypass your human experience, or of anyone who judges you because you are in the position of a ‘Spiritual Master’ yet you still have physical pain or mental disturbance.
In Spiritual Mastery you accept and welcome both, in balance, with wisdom and understanding, while remaining open to Grace.
The healing is not in anything that causes you to attempt to run or turn away from your current experience. The healing is in the experience itself, and in the acceptance of it, WITH BALANCE and the other things mentioned above.
It’s a dance with life. And if we could just stop running, it’s a beautiful experience, indeed. Even in the moments it may feel shitty… there’s always some gold at the end of the rainbow. And I mean that in the most profound sense.
I WANNA HEAR FROM YOU
What’s your take on this? Do you think if someone has a physical ailment; acknowledges their physical pain; or who has an emotional disturbance, then this means she is not a true Spiritual Master?
If someone is in this state, does it taint their practice as a Light worker, Healer, or Intuitive? Why or why not?
Do you struggle with this topic, as a Professional Light worker, Healer, Intuitive, Psychic, or Spiritual Master?

You’re so very welcome, Susan. Thanks for sharing <3
Enjoyed reading this. Timely and insightful for me and it reminded of my humanness. All experiences are valuable and teach continually if I remain humble. The experiences are just that. Not signatures of my enlightened walk but a signature of being human.
Thank you Jodi for your thoughts today.
